New Fortnite BrickHeadz Mark a Milestone for LEGO's Collectible Range
LEGO has just announced another Fortnite collaboration with the BrickHeadz Beef Boss & Skye set (40910), and whilst I'll admit I'm not exactly the target demographic for Fortnite, I do like to aim hamburgers at my face and open my mouth!

I'm sure Beef Boss (essentially a burger-themed warrior, if you're as confused as I was initially) and Skye will appeal to the legions of Fortnite fans out there. The real significance is that these will be the 299th and 300th numbered BrickHeadz characters since LEGO started the official numbering system in 2017. That's quite a milestone for what began as a Comic Con experiment back in 2016.

At 288 pieces for two figures, you're getting decent value, especially considering this will be available as a LEGO Insiders reward for 2,500 points when it launches on 1st March. For those keeping track, that works out to roughly the equivalent of spending £125 to earn enough points for redemption - not unreasonable when you consider you'd normally pay around £25-30 for a similar two-pack.

The BrickHeadz format continues to be brilliant for displaying characters from various franchises, and these Fortnite figures should fit nicely alongside any existing collection. They're compact enough not to dominate your shelf space, and the building experience, whilst straightforward, offers that satisfying click-together satisfaction we all know and love.

Whether you're a parent with Fortnite-obsessed kids or an adult collector who appreciates the BrickHeadz aesthetic, this feels like a solid addition to the range. Just remember to check your Insiders points balance before 1st March rolls around.
