LEGO Icons Road Bike Brings Working Pedals to the Shelf

LEGO has added the Road Bike (11380) to the Icons collection, aimed squarely at adult builders. Priced at £109.99 with 1,015 pieces, the set recreates a sporty racing bicycle with functional mechanisms and authentic details.

A working pedal-and-chain mechanism turns the rear wheel when the pedals rotate. Front-wheel steering allows the handlebars to be positioned at different angles. Both features combine to create a convincing replica of actual bicycle mechanics.

Smaller details include a removable water bottle and rear light. Sporty rims fitted with rubber tyres complete the racing bike look. Each component has been designed to capture the sleek profile of a modern road bicycle.
