LEGO's Spring Wreath Offers Seasonal Building Fun
LEGO's just announced the Spring Wreath (40957), and it's got a rather clever concept that caught my eye. Rather than being a straightforward Easter set, this 747-piece build lets you swap between spring and Easter decorations, making it genuinely useful for more than just one weekend a year.

The basic wreath comes with spring flowers and a yellow bow, but you can switch these out for a bunny head with movable ears and some brick-built Easter eggs when the holiday rolls around. It's a simple idea, but one that makes perfect sense for anyone who actually wants to display seasonal decorations without having a cupboard full of single-use builds.

At £32 (assuming the usual US to UK pricing), you're looking at about 4.3p per piece, which is solid value for a seasonal set. The 747 pieces suggest this isn't a tiny desk ornament either - it should have some proper presence when hung on a wall or placed on a mantelpiece.

What strikes me most is the age rating of 12+. LEGO's clearly targeting this at teens and adults rather than young children, which makes sense given it's essentially home décor that happens to be made of bricks. The building techniques for the flowers and bunny elements look interesting from the preview images, and I suspect there might be some nice part usage for the organic shapes.
The set releases on 1st February, which gives you plenty of time to build it before Easter arrives. For anyone who enjoys seasonal displays or has children who like switching up their room decorations, this feels like a worthwhile addition to the growing collection of LEGO seasonal sets. It's practical, reasonably priced, and offers more flexibility than most holiday-themed builds.
