LEGO Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird (72537) - KPop Demon Hunters Gets Its First Set

LEGO has announced its first KPop Demon Hunters set with 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, bringing the Oscar-winning Netflix animated film to brick form. Available for pre-order now ahead of its August 2026 release, the 825-piece set recreates the supernatural familiars who carry messages between rival K-pop stars in the hit film.

Derpy Tiger draws inspiration from the babo horangi, the "foolish tiger" of Korean minhwa folk painting, and the mythological Haetae. Sussie Bird represents a six-eyed Oriental Magpie, Korea's national bird and symbol of good fortune. Together they form jakhodo, one of the most recognisable motifs in Korean folk art from the Joseon period, where the tiger traditionally symbolised authority and the magpie represented common people.

Priced at £59.99 for ages 9+, the model measures 21 cm high, 15 cm long, and 15 cm wide when Sussie Bird perches atop Derpy Tiger. Key features include two interchangeable expressions for Derpy Tiger - a cheerful smile or extended tongue holding a love note, recreating memorable scenes from the film. A hidden compartment inside Derpy Tiger's head stores two love notes and a miniature flowerpot.

Both characters feature extensive articulation points for dynamic posing. Derpy Tiger's head, legs, and paws all move independently, while Sussie Bird has a rotating neck and posable feet. Builders can recreate various scenes from the film or create their own displays with the flexible positioning options.
