Ken Block's Hoonicorn V1 joins Speed Champions lineup

LEGO has added 77262 Ken Block's '65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1 to the Speed Champions range, arriving in June 2026. The set captures Block's modified 1965 Mustang that became famous through his Gymkhana videos. This marks the first Ken Block vehicle in Speed Champions, following his passing in 2023.

The Hoonicorn V1 is an obvious choice - it's probably his most recognisable car and has the right mix of classic muscle car appeal and modern modifications that works well at Speed Champions scale. The set includes Block's distinctive livery with the number 43 and Hoonigan branding.

At Speed Champions' standard 8-stud width, it should capture the Mustang's proportions better than some of the more modern supercars in the range. The Hoonicorn's aggressive stance and flared arches translate naturally to LEGO's chunky aesthetic.

Pricing follows the usual Speed Champions pattern at around £22.99, making it accessible for both collectors and kids who fancy a drift car. The release timing in June puts it alongside other summer Speed Champions releases, though pre-orders haven't opened yet.

It's a respectful tribute that makes sense commercially. Ken Block introduced millions to automotive culture through YouTube, and the Hoonicorn became an icon in its own right. This should appeal to Speed Champions fans, Ford enthusiasts, and anyone who remembers those brilliant Gymkhana videos.
