Mario Kart™ – Standard Kart

Mario Kart brings high-speed racing action to the LEGO Super Mario universe with this 174-piece brick-built Standard Kart model. The set recreates the iconic vehicle from Nintendo's beloved racing franchise, complete with authentic details and interactive features that bridge physical building with digital gameplay.

The Standard Kart measures 4 cm high, 14 cm long and 8 cm wide and includes several functional elements that enhance play. A detachable Super Glider allows for aerial manoeuvres, while specially designed wheels enable realistic drifting action. The kart also features a launch mechanism that fires shells at targets, adding competitive racing elements to building play.

Interactive Features

The set includes a Toad figure dressed in red pit crew uniform, along with a maintenance workstation complete with an Action Tag. When compatible LEGO Mario, Luigi or Peach figures are placed in the kart, the setup triggers sound and visual effects that respond to the racing action. The workstation's Action Tag provides additional digital reactions when activated.

For full interactive functionality, the set requires one of the LEGO Super Mario Starter Course sets (71439, 71440 or 71441), which contain the electronic figures needed to unlock the digital features. The Super Glider component can be transferred to other vehicles in the Mario Kart range, encouraging collection and cross-set compatibility. Suitable for ages 7 and up.
