Captain Toad's Camp

Building this 159-piece camping adventure involves constructing a detailed mountain environment complete with a collapsible bridge, tent, and bonfire. The set centres around Captain Toad's wilderness expedition, featuring interactive elements that respond to digital LEGO Mario characters.

The set includes Captain Toad, a turnip, and a Goomba figure, along with camping accessories such as a buildable backpack, pickax, pan, and diamond pieces. Captain Toad can search for treasure around the camp and store discoveries in the included treasure chest. The tent serves as a base camp where the character can rest between adventures.

Interactive Features

The bridge mechanism allows players to make enemies fall into the lava river below, while hidden diamonds can be collected throughout the mountain terrain. An Action Tag on the tent triggers digital reactions when jumped on by LEGO Mario, Luigi, or Peach figures (sold separately). Additional Action Tags on the Goomba and turnip figures provide further interactive elements.

The mountain module measures 8 cm high, 12 cm wide, and 8 cm deep when complete. Designed for ages 6 and up, this set requires one of the starter packs (sets 71439, 71440, 71441, or 72043) for full interactive functionality. The modular design allows for expansion and rebuilding with other LEGO Super Mario sets.
