Building mosaics from personal photographs becomes possible with this comprehensive set that transforms digital images into physical LEGO artwork. The kit centres around a 48x48 grey baseplate paired with 4,500 individual 1x1 plates distributed equally across five colours - 900 pieces in each shade.

The building process begins online where photographs can be uploaded to the dedicated Mosaic Maker experience on LEGO.com. The system generates a digital building grid that maps out exactly which coloured pieces to place where, effectively converting any image into a buildable mosaic pattern. Multiple photographs can be uploaded and converted, allowing the same collection of pieces to be rebuilt into entirely different artworks.

Technical specifications

The finished mosaic measures approximately 38 x 38 centimetres when complete. The set is designed for builders aged 10 and up, requiring patience and attention to detail as each of the thousands of small pieces must be positioned according to the digital guide to achieve the desired image effect.
