LEGO's New Lambda-Class Shuttle Brings Imperial Style to Your Collection
The Empire's getting a proper ride this summer with 75459 Imperial Lambda-Class Shuttle, landing in July 2026 for £219.99. At 2,432 pieces, this is LEGO's most detailed take yet on the distinctive three-winged transport that ferried Vader and other Imperial bigwigs around the galaxy.

This marks the first time we've seen the Lambda-class at this scale since the smaller 2010 version. The new build captures that angular Imperial aesthetic with folding wings that actually work - always satisfying when LEGO nails the mechanical bits alongside the looks.

At roughly 9p per piece, the pricing sits comfortably in LEGO's current range, though that £220 price tag will give some parents pause. The set includes five minifigures, though specific details haven't been revealed yet.
The shuttle fills an interesting gap in LEGO's Imperial fleet. Whilst we've had plenty of TIE fighters and Star Destroyers, this distinctive transport vessel brings something different to display shelves.

The real test will be how well those folding wings hold up during play - kids love moving parts, but they're often the first thing to break. Expect this one to appeal mainly to adult collectors and older kids who appreciate the engineering.

At this size and price point, it's more display piece than playground toy, but that seems to be where LEGO's aiming with their premium Star Wars releases these days. release-dates-minifigures-set-images/).*
