LEGO's Botanicals Get Wobbly with New Rocking Plants Set
The latest LEGO Botanicals set comes with a twist - literally. Rocking Plants (11506) features two succulents in pots with rounded bottoms that wobble when nudged. This 253-piece set launches on 1st May for £18.99 and includes a delosperma called Lumi and an echeveria named Ellie, both in pastel-coloured pots.

The rocking mechanism is built into the pot design rather than being an add-on feature. It's a logical follow-up to last year's Happy Plants (10349), though the novelty feels a bit gimmicky.

The original Botanicals worked because they looked genuinely realistic on a shelf. Thing is, these wobbling versions might amuse kids initially, but I'm not convinced the rocking adds much beyond the first few minutes.

At about 7.5p per piece, the pricing sits in line with other Botanicals sets. The builds themselves look solid enough, with decent colour choices and reasonable detail for the scale.

If you've got young builders who enjoyed the previous plants, they'll probably get a kick out of these wobbly versions. The set works best as a desk toy or something for fidgety hands rather than serious display. It's aimed squarely at the younger end of the Botanicals audience - anyone looking for realistic-looking plants might want to stick with the standard versions.
