LEGO's April 2026 Releases Hit Shelves Today
Three major sets have landed on the LEGO Shop today, marking April's biggest release day. The LEGO Ideas Tintin Moon Rocket (21367) leads the charge alongside the LEGO Icons Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner (11378) and Mario Kart Luigi & Mach 8 (72050).

The Tintin rocket has been anticipated since its fan submission made it through the Ideas review process last year. At what's likely to be around £200-250 based on previous Ideas pricing, it's targeting adult builders who remember Hergé's comics fondly.

The Douglas DC-3 sits in the premium Icons range, continuing LEGO's recent focus on vintage aircraft after the Concorde's success. Luigi's arrival fills out the Mario Kart lineup that started with Mario's kart earlier this year.
I mean, it's a smart move - kids who got Mario will want Luigi, and parents know it. The build techniques look similar to the previous releases, which means reliable but not fresh.

Just in time for the Easter holidays, though LEGO's still running those Star Wars promotions until April 5th. The Kamino Training Facility (40765) freebie with Star Wars purchases might pull some attention away from these new releases.

Each set is a solid addition to their respective themes. The Tintin rocket will appeal to old people like me, the airliner continues Icons' winning streak, and Luigi keeps the Mario momentum going.
Lets see how abused my Wallet gets when I take a trip to the store later today!
