LEGO S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier Returns with 3,057-Piece Update
LEGO has announced the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76354), a 3,057-piece Marvel set launching June 1st for £349.99. This marks the first Helicarrier since the 2015 version, which had 2,996 pieces and cost £279.99. The new version promises a more polished design with scenes from the Infinity Saga films.

You get six minifigures: Winter Soldier, Captain America, Phil Coulson, Maria Hill, Hawkeye, and Nick Fury. That's solid value for Marvel collectors, though the character selection feels predictable.

At about 11p per piece, the pricing sits in typical territory for large Marvel sets. The original Helicarrier remains popular on the secondary market, so there's clearly appetite for massive flying aircraft carriers among adult builders.

This one's definitely aimed at collectors rather than kids - the price point and complexity make that clear. The timing works well with Marvel's continued dominance in pop culture, though I wonder how much display space most people actually have for a 3,000-piece aircraft carrier.

Still, if you missed the first one or want the updated design, this gives you another shot at owning one of Marvel's most iconic vehicles in brick form.
