LEGO Scales Up Darth Vader for Summer 2026 Release
LEGO's taken their up-scaled minifigure format into Star Wars territory with Darth Vader (75461) arriving this summer. The format has stuck to LEGO's own properties until now - we've seen Creator figures and city characters - but bringing licensed characters into the mix feels like the natural next step.

The Vader figure follows the same oversized approach as previous releases, though LEGO hasn't shared piece counts or pricing yet. Based on past up-scaled figures, expect something in the £25-35 range and a display piece rather than a playset.

Alongside Vader comes the Imperial Remnant AT-RT Driver Helmet (75458) at £69.99 for 775 pieces. That works out to about 9p per piece, which sits comfortably in the helmet collection's usual pricing. The AT-RT driver design pulls from The Mandalorian era, continuing LEGO's focus on the newer Disney+ shows.

Both sets target adult collectors more than kids. The up-scaled Vader will appeal to display builders who want something different from the usual minifigure scale, while the helmet joins an increasingly crowded shelf of similar builds.

The AT-RT driver helmet offers something a bit more obscure than the usual Stormtrooper variants, which might make it more worth a look for serious Star Wars builders. Neither set breaks new ground, but they fill specific niches. The Vader figure tests whether the up-scaled format works with licensed properties, whilst the helmet gives Mandalorian fans another display option.
