After years of fan speculation and countless brilliant MOCs from the community, LEGO and Pokémon have finally joined forces for their first official collaboration. The reveal this week has certainly got people talking - but does this initial wave live up to the hype?

What's particularly interesting is how this partnership has developed. Pokémon has been one of the most requested themes from fans for ages, and the MOC community has shown just how well these two worlds can work together. Now we get to see what the official designers can do with access to custom moulds and printing.
