LEGO Botanicals Collection Mug Available for 1,000 Insiders Points

If you've been collecting Insiders points, there's a new way to spend them. The LEGO Botanicals Collection Mug went live in the rewards centre yesterday for 1,000 points. It's decorated with sketches of various Botanicals flowers and comes with LEGO's suggestion that you could use it as a vase for your built sets.

That's quite sweet, though I suspect most of us will stick to using it for tea. The limit is two per account, and you've got 60 days to use your redemption code once claimed.

1,000 points isn't terrible value - that's roughly what you'd earn from a £60-70 purchase. Whether you want a branded mug for that equivalent spend depends on how much you like the Botanicals theme and how many mugs you already own.

The Botanicals line has been one of LEGO's more successful adult-focused ranges, so merchandise makes sense. The mug looks decent quality from the photos, though it's hard to judge properly until someone gets one in hand.

If you're already deep into the theme and have points burning a hole in your account, it's a nice enough addition to the collection.
