BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 Pre-Orders Are Live - Some Proper Gems This Round

The latest batch of BrickLink Designer Program sets are up for pre-order on the Bricklink/LEGO Shop, and there's quite a nice variety on offer this time. You've got until 13th October to decide which ones tickle your fancy, though as always with this programme, each set needs 3,000 pre-orders to actually see the light of day.

What's particularly interesting about Series 6 is how it spans different interests and budgets. The Gold Mine Expedition (910055) is the heavyweight at 3,382 pieces for around £269.99, whilst the Off-road Adventure (910056) comes in as a more wallet-friendly option at 978 pieces for £69.99.

The Art Factory (910054) caught my eye - there's something appealing about a 2,566-piece building that celebrates creativity itself. It's the sort of set that would work brilliantly as a display piece in a home office or study. Meanwhile, the Gold Mine Expedition looks like it could scratch that adventure theme itch that many of us have been missing since the classic Castle and Adventurers days.

What I appreciate about the BrickLink Designer Program is how it gives talented fan designers a proper platform. These aren't just MOCs scaled up for mass production - they're carefully developed sets that often explore themes LEGO might not tackle in their regular lineup.

The pre-order system does mean a bit of a gamble - you're committing without knowing if the set will actually get made. But that's part of the charm, really. If you're on the fence about any of these, have a proper look at the images on the LEGO Shop. They give you a good sense of what you're getting into, especially important for the larger sets that'll need serious shelf space.
