Welcome to Bricksleuth, your new home for tracking LEGO prices and building up your collection without breaking the bank.

Finding good deals on LEGO isn’t always easy. Retailers shift their prices constantly, and keeping up with what’s a good deal (and when to pounce) can be frustrating. Bricksleuth is here to make that easier — helping you spot bargains, grab great gifts, and enjoy the thrill of finding a solid deal.

This is just the start. Over time, I’ll be adding features to make the site even more useful. You’ll be able to log in using your favourite accounts — like Google, Apple, or Microsoft — so you can keep track of things across devices. Once logged in, you’ll be able to favourite sets, giving you a personalised view of just the ones you’re most interested in.

There’ll also be email notifications to alert you when those sets drop below your target price, helping you act fast before they sell out.

I’m also building in smarter pricing advice, based on real historical data — things like how many retailers are stocking a set, when it was released, how close it is to retirement, and what theme it belongs to. Sometimes 5% off is worth grabbing; sometimes 30% isn’t that special. Knowing the difference is key, and Bricksleuth will help with that.

Behind the scenes, an algorithm will help surface popular sets by tracking things like Google search trends, Reddit buzz, and what people are looking at right here on the site. This means you’ll be able to see not just what’s cheap — but what’s genuinely in demand.

And finally, I’ll be posting buying guides and newsletters to highlight the best deals each month. These will be especially handy for retiring sets — where timing really matters — so you can jump in before prices shoot up or stock disappears entirely.
