SMART Play™: Throne Room Duel & A-Wing™

Young Star Wars fans aged 9 and above will find plenty to explore in this interactive building set that combines traditional LEGO construction with digital technology. The 962-piece set recreates the iconic throne room duel scene from Return of the Jedi alongside a Rebel A-wing starfighter, enhanced by the LEGO SMART Play system.

The set centres around three SMART minifigures - Luke Skywalker, Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader - which come to life when paired with the included SMART Bricks. These figures respond to play scenarios with character-specific sounds and reactions. The lightsaber duels become particularly engaging, with the SMART Bricks generating authentic humming sounds when placed on the dueling arms as Luke and Vader battle.

Interactive Features

Five SMART Tags are strategically placed throughout the build - on the A-wing, throne, Death Star turret and two for the lightsaber duels. These tags trigger dynamic sound effects and lighting when the SMART Bricks detect movement and interaction during play. The system includes two SMART Bricks with a charger, offering approximately 45 minutes of battery life per charge.

The completed throne room measures 14 cm high, 49 cm wide and 29 cm deep. A companion SMART Assist app helps manage the interactive features, allowing sound level control, troubleshooting and firmware updates. The set also includes a deactivated microphone for potential future features, though activation would require user permission and software updates.
