SMART Play™: Luke's Red Five X-Wing™

Recreate iconic Star Wars missions with this 581-piece interactive X-wing fighter that responds to movement with authentic sounds and lights. The LEGO SMART Play system uses a rechargeable SMART Brick to power motion-activated engine sounds, laser effects, and refueling audio when placed inside the model.

The set includes two SMART minifigures - Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia - that trigger unique reactions when interacting with the SMART Brick during play scenarios. Five SMART Tags attach to the X-wing, Imperial turret, transporter, command centre and R2-D2 droid, each activating different sound and light sequences based on how children move and position the models.

Technical Features

The finished X-wing measures 22 cm long, 19 cm wide and 6 cm high. The rechargeable SMART Brick provides approximately 45 minutes of play per charge and includes a built-in charger. A companion SMART Assist app helps with setup, sound level control and firmware updates. The system includes a deactivated microphone for potential future features that would require user permission to activate.

Designed for ages 6 and up, the set encourages screen-free imaginative play either solo or with friends, combining traditional LEGO building with interactive digital elements that respond to physical play patterns.
