SMART Play™: Darth Vader's TIE Fighter™

This 473-piece interactive building set brings Darth Vader's iconic starfighter to life through LEGO's SMART Play system. The completed TIE Fighter measures 10 cm high, 11 cm long and 15 cm wide, making it a substantial display piece that doubles as an interactive toy.

The SMART Brick technology powers the set's immersive features. When placed on the SMART Tag within the starfighter, it activates motion-triggered engine sounds, lights, laser-shooting effects, and refueling sounds. The included SMART Darth Vader minifigure also responds to the SMART Brick, triggering character-specific reactions during play scenarios.

Interactive Play Features

Beyond the TIE Fighter itself, the set includes a fuel station for refueling sequences and a Rebel outpost defended by a Fleet Trooper minifigure with a dual stud shooter. Players can recreate classic Star Wars battles using Darth Vader's lightsaber accessory alongside the various sound and light effects.

The SMART Assist app provides setup guidance, troubleshooting support, and sound level controls. The SMART Brick offers approximately 45 minutes of battery life per charge. The set includes a deactivated microphone that could enable future play features through firmware updates. Designed for ages 8 and up, this set supports both solo play and group battles.
