Explorers' Arctic Polar Express Train

Young builders and train enthusiasts aged 7 and up will find plenty to explore in this remote-controlled Arctic adventure set. The 1,517-piece collection combines STEM learning with imaginative polar exploration themes, making it ideal for children who enjoy both technical building challenges and creative storytelling.

The set includes a motorized locomotive, passenger car, and flatcar that can be operated using either the included remote control or a smart device with the LEGO Powered Up app. The complete train measures 70 cm long, 8 cm high, and 6 cm wide when assembled. Power comes from 10 AAA batteries, which are not included.

Track Layout and Scenery

The 22 track pieces create a circuit that runs through a mountain tunnel and connects to an Arctic outpost. The mountain features an interactive rockfall function that activates when the train passes through, while a zip line connects the mountain to the outpost for additional play scenarios. A separate mine cave adds another exploration element to the Arctic landscape.

Minifigures and Accessories

Seven minifigures populate this frozen world: the classic Johnny Thunder explorer character plus five additional expedition team members. Two Arctic fox figures complete the wildlife element. The set is designed to integrate with other LEGO City sets for expanded play possibilities.
