Retro Roller Skate

Building enthusiasts can construct three distinct retro models from a single 342-piece set, each capturing iconic pop culture elements from decades past. The primary build recreates a classic roller skate complete with four moving pink wheels, measuring 14 cm high, 16 cm long and 7 cm wide. The same bricks can be reassembled into either a mini skateboard with functional wheels or a vintage boom box radio.

Each model offers interactive elements that extend beyond static display. The roller skate glides smoothly on its wheeled base, while the skateboard provides similar rolling action for dynamic play scenarios. All three builds are designed to stand independently, making them suitable for display when not in active use.

Construction and Design

The set targets builders aged 8 and above, with the rebuilding aspect encouraging experimentation with different configurations. The modular approach means children can cycle between the three models, exploring different aspects of retro design and functionality with each rebuild.

The colour scheme emphasises the nostalgic theme, with the roller skate featuring prominent pink wheel details that contrast with the main body construction. Each model captures recognisable design elements from its respective era, from the high-top silhouette of the roller skate to the geometric lines of the boom box.
