Mineral Collection

Part of the LEGO Ideas collection, this 880-piece set recreates six different minerals using colourful transparent and opaque LEGO bricks. The collection includes golden pyrite, purple amethyst, blue fluorite, watermelon tourmaline, reddish-pink rhodochrosite and tangerine quartz, each built to capture the distinctive colours and crystalline structure of the real specimens.

The set uses transparent LEGO elements to replicate the natural reflectivity and vibrant hues of genuine minerals. Each mineral specimen is designed as a separate buildable model that can be displayed individually or as part of the complete collection.

Display and Customisation

Three buildable shelf units provide multiple display options for the finished minerals. The shelving units can be arranged together to create a unified display measuring 28 cm wide, 18 cm high and 7 cm deep, or positioned separately around a room. The modular design allows builders to rearrange the minerals on different shelves to create varied display configurations.
