Peace Lily

Built around the lifecycle of a single flower type, this botanical set captures the peace lily across six distinct blooms representing three different growth stages. The 474-piece construction includes two furled buds, two partially opened flowers, and two blooms in full flower, creating a dynamic display that shows the natural progression from tight bud to open blossom.

The set demonstrates creative part usage with specially selected LEGO elements to achieve botanical accuracy. A recoloured carrot piece forms the spadix shape on the partially opened blooms, while popcorn pieces create the textured detail at the top of the spadix on the fully opened flowers. These thoughtful design choices help capture the distinctive appearance of the peace lily's characteristic white spathe and central spike.

Display and Dimensions

When completed, the arrangement measures 30 cm high, 25 cm wide, and 22 cm deep, making it suitable for desks, shelves, or side tables. The varying heights of the different bloom stages create visual interest and mimic how peace lilies naturally grow in clusters.
