La Catrina

La Catrina is one of Mexico's most iconic cultural figures. This 1,212-piece LEGO Ideas set translates her into a poseable figurine standing over 43 cm tall. The model captures her characteristic skeletal face and elaborate, elegant clothing, with brick-built marigolds worked into the attire and printed sugar skull details throughout.

The figurine's head and arms can be adjusted to create different poses. A brick-built monarch butterfly, another symbol closely associated with the Day of the Dead, can be placed in her hand.

Display and Base

La Catrina stands on a dedicated base decorated with additional marigolds and a second brick-built butterfly, creating a complete, self-contained display piece. The set is aimed at adult builders.

The design originated as a fan-submitted concept, selected through community vote and developed by the LEGO Group into an official release as part of the LEGO Ideas programme.
